The postpartum period is an extremely beautiful, yet challenging time. You are recovering from birth as well as moving though immense physical and emotional changes, all while caring for a newborn. It is a huge transition and one you weren’t meant to do alone. With extensive postpartum nursing experience and being a mother of two, you can be sure you have quality support and empathy. As The Mama Coach, it’s my mission to ensure every parent feels cared for and supported immediately following the arrival of their newborn. As an experienced Maternal Child Health Nurse, I want you to feel confident in taking care of your infant, as well as yourself, during the postpartum period.
I will come to your home and be your extra set of hands, as you transition to being at-home with your child. I can answer your general questions during our time together, provide light housekeeping and meal prep, allow you to get some rest, and assist in newborn care including teaching you how to bathe and swaddle your baby, trim fingernails, and provide educating about newborn rash, jaundice, cord care, and newborn development.
This service is for families with a baby under 12 weeks and does not include individualized lactation support or a careplan.
